GRADE 8 LANGUAGE ARTS, GEOGRAPHY AND RELIGION HOMEWORK

The DC Journals are due by Friday. Thank you to Mrs. Winslow, Mrs. Sweatt, Mr. Klover and Mr. Barnett for accompanying us on this marvelous adventure.

 We are in the 4th quarter.  GRADUATION IS JUNE 11TH

SPELLING AND VOCABULARY: Unit 14: words 5x and definitions are due on Friday. The unit work is due on Tuesday, May 18th. The spelling test is Wednesday, May 19th and the vocab test is Friday, May 21st. There will also be a crossword due on Friday.

WHITE FANG: This novel has been completed and the tests go home tomorrow. WE START SHAKESPEARE TOMORROW . WE WILL READ TE PLAYS HAMLET, MACBETH AND ROMEO AND JULIET.

SPEECH PROJECT: . em.  We will begin to write the outline and the grabber sentence. This will be due the Tuesday after their trip. (May 11th). I will check these tomorrow and the rough draft is due next Tuesday, May 18th. The rough draft is to be typed and double-spaced.

DOL: We continue to do daily oral language each week. Remember to turn in your classwork as it counts as a homework assignment. The quizzes are on Fridays. In addition, we are covering the basic parts of speech. There are worksheets which we do in class. As we complete a section, there is a quiz/test. We are covering the 8 parts of speech. Verbs are the present topic.

RELIGION: We are beginning chapter 6..

GEOGRAPHY: . We will continue studying the Middle East and emphasize Isreal this week.
