Grade 6 Language Arts and Religion Homework:

September 7th:

Welcome to the 6th grade. Each week I will try to post all assignments and any other information that will be helpful to you. Please call me or e-mail me with any of your questions.

Literature: All summer reading is due this Friday. We will discuss The Lottery Rose this week and at the end of next week there will be a novel test. The students will also write journals.

Spelling: Unit 1 this week. Words must be written 5x each and sentences must be written using each word as weekly homework. The homework is due on Thursday. The spelling tests are on Fridays. However this week it will be on Thursday because Friday is a minimum day. There will be vocab work and tests when the books come in.

We have Daily Oral Language each day and there is a quiz on Friday. This will start next week.

Please sign all tests and quizzes and have your child return them to me. This way I know you know how your child is progressing. Please call me or e-mail me with your concerns and questions.
