Welcome to Mrs. Napier's First Grade Class Page!
 Welcome to First Grade. There are thirteen students in our class and we are ready to take off! Reading is our top priority. By Christmas we should be well on our way. In math, we'll be adding, subtracting, measuring, introducing fractions and learning to tell time. Fun Friday seems to be the highlight of the week. That is when we break into groups so that we can cook, do special art projects, carve pumpkins, plant bulbs, and many other fun activities. It takes a lot of parents to pull this off, but our dedicated families always seem to come through.
We are all looking forward to a wonderful year of learning, discovery, sharing our ideas and feelings. We strive to:

- Be good citizens
- Use kind words
- Help other people
- Learn something every day
