Language Arts and Religion classes will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. . Welcome to the 7th grade. . I will try to post all assignments for each week on this homework page. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at home, at school or by e-mail. I strongly suggest that you have a homework assignment book. I will be happy to sign it daily for you.

BOOK REPORT: 3rd quarter: The students must read a book from our classroom library. The report will be oral giving the overview of the book and an opinion of the selection. In addition, the students need to draw/create a symbol or drawing of a character or idea from the book. Due date will be the last week of March.

Literature:. NOVEL:, We finisher\d Farewell to Manzanar and the test will come home this week. We are now reading, what is considered, Agatha Christie's best mystery, And Then There Were None. We are on the 2nd chapter. There are journals, questions, quizzes and a final test.

We will have Daily Oral Language each week. We are on unit 21. Quiz is Thursday.

Spelling/Vocabulary: . Unit 10 definitions were due Friday. 2 pages of the unit are due Tuesday, 21st Spelling test is Wed. 22nd and vocab test is Friday 24th.

 Each unit will take 2 weeks. THIS YEAR YOUR VOCABULARY WORDS ARE YOUR SPELLING WORDS. The homework is as follows: each word is to be written 5 times each, the definitions for the words are to be written and 2 pages of the vocab workbook are to be completed. The 5x and the definitions are due Friday of the first week. The pages are due the following Tuesday, the spelling test is Wednesday and the vocab test is Friday unless something comes up. and the crossword is due the day of the test.

  Religion:. We are in the process of relearning the basic prayers of the Church. The task will be the  reading of the Gospel of St. John We started with the prologue. We had one quiz on the Gospel. This gospel is required study for the Decathlon. We are on Chapter 20. There was a second test and there will be a final test on the Gospel.

Please make sure that you sign all tests and quizzes and have your child return them to me. This assures me that you are aware of their progress. Thank you for your support and attention.
